The recruiting program provided me the best possible stepping stone to a new career
I have worked for more than 10 years in marketing positions in large international brandhouses and became unemployed in August 2018. For a longer period, I had in mind that I would like to find a new direction for my career, particularly within marketing automation. Salesforce was not familiar to me as a platform before, but it came up many times in different contexts and a lot seemed to happen around it. The recruitment announcement by Saranen's Salesforce program caught my attention and I applied a few days later. My interest became stronger as the recruitment process progressed. The further the recruitment process went, the less I was attracted to other potential direct job advertisements.
During the program I worked as a Salesforce consultant in Sofigate and got to work with customer projects from the beginning, which was definitely the best way to learn in action. After the program I got a permanent job from Sofigate as a Salesforce Solution Consultant. Currently my role is focused especially on growing the marketing automation consulting business at Sofigate. Learning continues every day and there will never be a situation where I could tell that I know everything.
The recruiting program provided me the best possible stepping stone to a new career in a world of Salesforce consulting. Through this program I found a permanent job in a ICT-company that employs more than 500 people and is growing all the time. In addition, the course participants formed a close network, with whom we still keep in touch with.
I would recommend Salesforce-program especially for those, who are ready to throw oneself for new thing and to learn a lot of new information. Salesforce also offers a great Trailhead -training environment for self-study and continuous development.
